Patrick Ellis serves as Managing Partner of the Murrieta Innovation Center (MIC), where he helps entrepreneurs and startups access the resources, mentorship, and connections needed to grow and succeed. Passionate about innovation and economic development, he works to foster a collaborative environment that supports emerging businesses and strengthens the regional startup ecosystem.
Patrick also serves as President & CEO of the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce, where he leads initiatives that promote business growth, advocacy, and community prosperity throughout Southwest Riverside County.

Scott Agajanian serves as Deputy City Manager for the City of Murrieta, where he helps lead strategic initiatives that support economic development, innovation, and community growth. Through his work with the Murrieta Innovation Center (MIC), Scott champions entrepreneurship and fosters partnerships that connect startups and businesses with valuable resources and opportunities. His leadership and commitment to building a thriving business ecosystem continue to strengthen Murrieta's reputation as a hub for innovation and economic success.

As Lab Manager for the Murrieta Innovation Center (MIC) and a leader with Murrieta Genomics, Brandon Young helps bridge the gap between scientific innovation and entrepreneurial success. He oversees the MIC's laboratory resources while supporting startups, researchers, and innovators as they develop and scale new technologies. With expertise in biotechnology and life sciences, Brandon is passionate about fostering collaboration, advancing innovation, and helping emerging companies transform ideas into real-world impact.

Volker Jaeckel serves as a consultant at the Murrieta Innovation Center (MIC), where he helps entrepreneurs refine their business strategies, strengthen their messaging, and prepare for growth. Through programs such as PitchAscent, Volker works closely with founders to develop compelling investor and customer pitches, build confidence in presenting their ideas, and communicate their vision with clarity and impact. Passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation, he is dedicated to helping startups accelerate their journey from concept to successful venture.

Myke Munroe is the founder of MACRO Development and Training, a technology consulting firm specializing in software development, AI integration, and workforce training. With experience spanning technology, economic development, and organizational leadership, Myke helps startups and growing businesses leverage innovative tools to improve operations and accelerate growth. Passionate about practical technology solutions, he works closely with entrepreneurs to navigate emerging technologies, streamline workflows, and turn ideas into scalable business solutions.
Under the agreement, the EPIC SBDC Resource Center will build on MIC’s current programming and business mentoring by leveraging the expertise of the EPIC SBDC’s pool of 15 entrepreneurs-in-residence (EIR) to provide hands-on consulting to tech-focused and scalable startups.
